Age 60+ Pilot Career Counseling
(for the Retired Airline Pilot)

WANT TO FLY PAST AGE 60?  OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE; HOW TO MARKET YOURSELF
Our AGE 60+ Pilot Career Counseling is designed for retired airline or mature career pilots who want to continue flying after age 60, but have limited data on who's hiring, what they offer and how to approach them properly.   Our counselors will help you plan your job search, prepare a professional resume, complete job applications which sell your skills and help you market yourself to potential pilot employers.

You Should Consider :

  • Who is getting hired - do you fit the profile?
  • Your resume - is it current and does it present you in the best light?
  • Job search action plan - is yours an aggressive one, tailored to your desires?
  • Type-Specific Training/Ratings - should you purchase training now or later?
  • Refresher Training -  are you current on Part 91/135 regs and GA flying?
  • Marketing Yourself-  obstacles you'll encounter and how to sell your skills

Once we receive your paperwork we'll call you to set up a counseling session, either via your phone call to us at a pre-arranged time (evenings and weekend appointments are available) or in-person at our offices in Santa Barbara, California, with airport pickup available upon request.

Your counseling session will last approximately 75 minutes and include detailed advice on achieving your goals with special attention to your specific needs and questions.  Within the next 6 months after your initial session, you're entitled to two additional follow-up sessions (limit: 10 minutes each) to help you with any additional questions or concerns. This might include a critique of your resume, application or help with a job or training decision.  The fee for our service is $225.00 payable by check, $US money order, VISA or MasterCard. (Should you desire in-person counseling, add $50.)
